Ever since his secondary school Zoran Rakić has been demonstrating interest for issues in the realm of methodology, particularly of bayan (button accordion) teaching, at that time not present at our schools.
It is interesting to note that he has been the first in Serbia to switch from piano accordion to the button accordion back in 1984. In the course of his studies he had acquired precious knowledge at the ambience of exceptional artistic and educational fervour existent at his faculty.
Together with his teacher, the renowned methodologist and Faculty Dean, Professor B. M. Jegorov he entered consultation activities during his studies, which consultations have actually resulted with elaboration of his final examination topic “The School of Accordion”.
Back in Yugoslavia this work has been further comprehensively expanded, elaborated, amended and remodelled into accordion textbook for students of all grades in primary schools of musical arts. Mr. Zoran Rakić also has arranged and published assorted collections, specialist and theoretic literature as follows:

Upon suggestion of the Serbian Ministry of Education Zoran Rakić has worked with his colleague Ms. Poznić Danijela on preparation of the lecturing plan and programme for secondary school education in following subjects (as published at the “Official Gazette RS”, July 1996):
ACCORDION for grade I, II, III and IV; CHAMBER MUSIC for grade I, II, III and IV; MUSICAL SHEET READING for grade I, II, III and IV; ACCORDION ORCHESTRA
He is also the author of articles published at the “Harmony” magazine and the “Music Marketing” editorial of the Association of School of Musical Arts and Association of Music and Ballet pedagogues of Serbia respectively.
